Berilyn Angel Fombu
Ms. Berilyn (Angel) Fombu has a Master’s Degree from the American University Washington, College of Law, USA, on Intellectual Property and Technology Law. She has a second Master’s Degree in International Business Law from the University of Brussels, Belgium, and a third Master’s Degree in Business Law from the University of Buea, Cameroon, where she also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law. She later advanced her expertise at the Pan-African Institute for Development, in Buea, where she studied Human Resources Management, an experience that strengthened her leadership, organizational, and administrative capacities
Ms. Fombu, is a passionate advocate for community development with a lifelong commitment to service. Her journey has been shaped by a deep dedication to empowering communities, promoting good governance, and supporting sustainable development initiatives, especially aimed at improving lives of those in her Nkwen community. Ms. Fombu’s academic and professional formation reflect a strong blend of law, human resources, and development studies where she first developed a passion for justice, community engagement, and people-centered governance. She has an exposure that has allowed her to understand global development challenges and the role of effective legal frameworks in shaping resilient communities. This unique combination of human resources, law, and technology positions her to contribute innovative, forward-thinking leadership to community focused initiatives. She strongly believes in empowering grassroots voices and promoting sustainable projects to uplift communities. Ms. Fombu is dedicated to community service with her experiences spanning from Africa, Europe, and now the United States.
